Great article! "Subliminal persuasion describes the act of influencing people below the level of their conscious awareness." I have a facebook blog "The Lace & Bow Rebellion" and I hope to use subliminal persuasion to help all my members! lol

If anything is too good to be true, it probably is. I had just graduated from college when The Secret became a best selling phenomenon. I did read the book but concluded it was a loadful of fallacies and totally phony.

Another book, that I read after that and which really helped was 'The Tao of Pooh and the Te of Piglet' by Benjamin Hoffman. It does not profess any miracle or secret.

Rather explains the Taoist approach to life using the parable and characters of Pooh bear and the Piglet.
